ClearWing 5-Piece Optics Cleaning Kit
Keep everyday lens-care essentials close at hand. ClearWing combines a manual air blower, a soft cleaning brush, and three microfiber cloths for a practical, step-by-step cleaning routine. Use it to care for accessible exterior lenses on binoculars, monoculars, and camera lenses, following your equipment manufacturer’s cleaning instructions.
A Considered Cleaning Routine
Lift loose dust before you wipe.
Start with a puff of air to dislodge loose particles. Follow with the clean, soft brush where appropriate, then use a clean microfiber cloth for remaining fingerprints or light smudges. Each tool has a distinct role, helping you avoid wiping grit across the lens.
Contact-free dust removal
The hand-squeezed blower directs air toward loose dust without requiring the nozzle to touch the lens. Keep the tip clear of the glass during use.
Soft cleaning bristles
The soft-bristled brush helps sweep away remaining loose particles. Use light strokes and keep the bristles free of oil, moisture, and trapped grit.
Three cloths, ready to rotate
Three microfiber cleaning cloths provide fresh wiping surfaces for routine care. Set aside a clean cloth for lenses rather than using one that has cleaned a dusty equipment body.
Room for a clean fold
Each cloth measures approximately 6 × 6 inches. Fold it to expose a clean section and wipe gently after loose particles have been removed.
Made for your field kit
The five cleaning pieces weigh approximately 4 oz combined, making them convenient to keep with your birding or photography equipment.
Care between outings
Keep your cleaning tools together and check exterior lens surfaces before your next observation session. Clean only when needed and follow the optic maker’s care guidance.

A Simple Sequence
Blow. Brush. Wipe.
- Check the surface. Read your optic’s cleaning instructions and inspect the lens for sand, grit, or other loose particles.
- Blow away loose dust. Hold the nozzle away from the glass and squeeze the bulb. Do not touch the lens with the nozzle.
- Brush lightly if appropriate. Use clean bristles and gentle strokes to lift remaining loose dust without pressing it into the surface.
- Use a clean microfiber cloth. Wipe gently only after loose particles are removed. If a smudge persists, follow the manufacturer’s guidance on an approved lens-cleaning solution. Cleaning liquid is not part of the five-piece set.
- Store clean and dry. Keep the cloths and brush protected from dust before packing them away.
Keep Your Tools Clean
Care for the kit
Keep the brush bristles covered or protected during storage, and avoid touching them with oily fingers. Wash microfiber cloths separately with a mild detergent when needed, rinse thoroughly, and allow them to air-dry. Avoid fabric softener, bleach, and high heat. Make sure the cloths are completely dry and free of grit before using them on a lens again.
